THE TRAY

To make the tray, we need a mold. So we measure and cut a wood mold.


Then we cut the aluminium panel into two rounded rectangles in same shape.

First punch the 4 sides.

Then hammer the 4 corners. It's a long period which I have to hammer the corner over and over again to shape a nice curve.

Then the mistakes come to me. My tray is smaller than my peer's tray. So I made a second one. However, I was quite impatient and damaged my second one.
 
Therefore, I made the third tray. And finally I get a nice tray with the help from my peer to shape the tray in the same size of hers.

After the shaping and cutting off the overhang, I made the polish by hand.
